I bought this book & it went from the title page to the end. It would not allow me to read it. So I paid $4.99 for NOTHING! GUESS WHAT, the book just showed up in my down load! It was very good. I'd start w/ the Rose Gardener Investigations , then the Neely Kate mysteries & then these 2 books. You'll be glad you did. This book has echos of Rose's story, which is intentional. I like those books even better than these, if that's possible. Go for the journey. Immerse yourself in Swank's world.

Denise Grover Swank has done it again! Her Scream in the Silence is a fantastic book. When a storyline is well written, I hate when I finish the book. I sit there thinking ‘Wow!’ I’m now invested in the story and the main characters. I ask the question, ‘what’s could possibly be next?’ But, the last chapter in Her Scream in the Silence is definitely mind blowing! The secrets, suspense, intrigue and character failings are generated by Denise Gardner Swank once again in a manner only she can achieve. The Carly Moore series is unique, exciting and thought provoking. So worth reading!

I love Hank and Carly’s relationship. When you think about who Carly really is and how she was raised, their relationship truly melts your heart. The girl power in this book is incredible. Lulu, Greta, Carly and Ruth are Swanks’ Angels (i.e. Charlie’s Angels if you missed it). The book is a great continuation of the series. My least favorite part of the book is Marco. He’s a great guy but I just wasn’t feeling him. However, in great Denise fashion she has set us for another great book.
