This book is okay if you are an Indonesian official reading it. Its recommendations don't address West Papuan grievances which go back decades. Instead, it recommends the implementation of the Special Autonomy - a law created to stonewall pro-independence sentiments in West Papua by appealing to development and improved standard of living. Such policy should have been done 50 years ago. The issue of West Papua is approached in this book the same way the US govt approached the issue of Palestine.
