Carl Alden Groff was born amid the Great Depression. Named after a doctor in New York, Carl grew into a shy little boyand his nickname, Doc. Esther Sutliff walked beside her husband, Charles, and her brother, Carl, as they moved through the process of dying with dignity. She is a passionate proponent of hospice and the excellent care they provide to the terminally ill. Esther resides in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. This is her first book.
