This is book 2 in the Skye Druids series and it features Elias and Bronwyn. He’s being framed for murder. She’s protecting the only family she has left from someone that killed her father and would ultimately do them harm. The problem is that she used a forbidden style of magic that comes with dire consequences. How does that work when you might have found the person destined to be your forever, when your forever will be cut short? This is a fantastic story line!

The Skye Druids are quickly becoming a VERY interesting clan to read about in this world. As an introvert I relate to Bronwyn quite a bit obviously without the trauma >.< But seriously she was a great main character and the chemistry that immediately feel when they meet each other again was sizzling. I can not wait for more and more of these druids and their world to play out.

What an amazing second book in the Skye Druids series. So much happens in this book. There's a history of blood magic, danger, intrigue, suspense, visits from old friends, steam, and excellent overall world building. I love Elias and Bronwen so hard. They've been through so much and absolutely deserve their hard-won HEA. Highly recommend. Many thanks to the author and BookFunnel for an advance copy of this book.
