Hated the plot, hated the characters. Edward deserved so much better. As I kept reading, things just got worse and worse. Bella is infuriating, Jacob is unredeemable, Charlie is a disappointment of a father. Bella is an awful character and I no longer feel sorry for her. I did at first but she has no respect or regard for those around her that she burdens. She honestly deserves Jacob because they're both so horrible. I can forgive certain elements for the sake of fantasy and fiction but I really can't see how anyone can read this and not hate Bella as much as I did.

I think the theme of this book is that you should work together despite your differences with others. Edward and Jacob hate each other but they both came together to protect Bella. They hate each other because Jacob is a werewolf and Edward is a vampire. I think the author did a good job at getting the readers attention because everything is very interesting in the book and you never know whats going to happen next in this book. I did not like how the author did not use challenging vocabulary in this novel. I would recommend this book to teenagers who enjoy reading romantic and fantasy books.

Besides continuing with the trash talk about Edward, the second was manipulating Bella into kissing him. What a first class creep. Taunting Edward when they were in the tent, refusing to even consider being his friend even though Edward said he would if circumstances were different. This is a young adult series about a teenage girl experience of first love. Of course she is obsessed, of course everything is colored with high drama. That's the way of teen love.
