Philip Arestis
is Director of Research at the Cambridge Centre for Economics and Public Policy in the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge, UK. He is also Professor of Economics in the Department of Applied Economics V at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. He has published a number of books and papers in academic journals. He is Chief Academic Adviser to the UK Government Economic Service (GES) on Professional Developments in Economics.Malcolm Sawyer
is Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Leeds, UK, and Principal Investigator for the EU-funded five year 15 partner project on Financialisation, Economy, Society and Sustainable Development (FESSUD). He is Managing Editor of the International Review of Applied Economics, and has authored or edited over 35 books, as well as publishing over 200 articles or chapters in refereed journals and edited book collections.
