About this ebook

Help me.

English teacher Corazon da Silva attends the funeral of Isabella Morales, but soon afterwards, two desperate words whispered over the phone shake her to the core. Is her best friend really dead?

With little interest from the Colombian police, Cora goes undercover to hunt for Izzy in America. The journey promises to be dangerous, but she’s not worried because her big brother, Rafael, is watching her every move.

The only problem? Rafael’s an assassin, and he’s just shot somebody he shouldn’t have. Now they’re in a race against time to find Izzy before his enemies catch up with him, and Cora isn’t the only person with a hidden agenda.

Quicksilver is a standalone romantic thriller novel in the Blackwood Security Series. No cliffhanger!

Another brilliant book from Ellis. This told the story of a brave girl, Cora and the dreadful sex slave trade. Powerful stuff but told in an enjoyable readable form. If this is your first book in the Blackwood series, you will get to know some well-loved characters even if you have never met them before you will still enjoy the story. Ellis Nobel has a unique talent to write books that are recognisable yet each is very different.

Great story as always from Elise Noble. This story, more than the other stand-alone Blackwood Security novels, really is better if you've read the rest of the series. I mean this on the sense that the comedy in "Quicksilver" is easier to catch as well as the storyline may be easier to keep up with. That all being said, "Quicksilver" would still be very enjoyable to someone as a first introduction. Elise is a highly gifted author with a great talent for writing comedy, action, and romance

The first two words “Help me” caught my interest. The rest is history as it has been said. Elise takes the reader through many intense adventures. Emmy and Black as well as other “cohorts” are part of the intrigue that answers many questions about Blacks past. We are further introduced to new characters who we are guaranteed to see in the future. Quicksilver does not disappoint. Elise is at her best. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
