I for one, am happy to have an introduction of Widow Lola Engel and Fireman Daniel Flannigan. The story is funny and sexy as HE$$. Lola is about 12 years older than Daniel and was attempting to get Chance Grayson’s attention and not Daniel. The creative ways in which Lola, a local shoe store owner, attempts to get the attention of Chance with as many 911 calls of staged mishaps, all in Designer spiked high heels, will have you LOL. The last 911 call she made she was stranded on her roof in her high heels and its Daniel took the call since all the other firefighters were out on a real call. Daniel just wanted to get the widow to stop making 911 calls. When Lola begin to tease Daniel must decide if he should put her over his shoulder and show her that he can ignite her with White-Hot Flame that she wasn’t expecting. Find out what Daniel decides to do with the sexy Lola. I volunteered to read an ARC for an honest review.

Lola is out to catch a firefighter, but she may have caught more than she can handle. This is a short, sexy, fun introduction to Lola Engel and Daniel Flannigan, an unexpected match. It’s an enjoyable taste of what’s to come. I recommend this quick, appealing almost love story.

The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page! "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
