Wray Vamplew is Director of Research in Sports Studies at the University of Stirling, UK. He has written extensively on horseracing and is a consultant to the National Horseracing Museum at Newmarket.,
Joyce Kay is a Research Fellow in Sports Studies at the University of Stirling, UK. She has published widely on horseracing for international encyclopedias and academic journals.
