Ajay Mathur is Director General, International Solar Alliance and former Director General of TERI. Dr Mathur was also Director General of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, leading the bureau’s flagship initiatives such as the star labelling of energy appliances, the Energy Conservation Building Code, and the PAT (perform, achieve, and trade) programme for energy-intensive industries. Dr Mathur was also a member of the Prime Minister of India’s Council on Climate Change, and India’s spokesperson at the Paris climate negotiations. Dr Mathur was appointed a Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Merite by the President of France in recognition of his outstanding commitment to the preservation of the environment and coping with energy-related challenges.

Leher V Thadani is a communications professional who has advised organizations in reputation management, crisis communications, and public affairs. She has worked across a wide variety of sectors including climate change, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
