It wasnt supposed to be this way. Twenty-six-year-old Jack Boudreau is a struggling stringer reporter out of Bangor, Maine, who suddenly finds himself standing inside a cattle truck with forty other members of his platoon. Paul Bouchard is a lawyer in the Army JAG Corps. He has authored two other novels titled A Package at Gitmo and The Boy Who Wanted to be a Man and one work of nonfiction, A Catholic Marries a Hindu. He and his wife live in El Paso, Texas.
