Alfie and Joaquin were introduced way back in CBMC #1 and I instantly liked them. Of course, I saw Alfie as more of an intense character than some of his brothers. Joaquin was very light-hearted and care-free in many respects. Really, they're polar opposites in many ways. The fact that their attraction is so strong, blew me away. The only thing they're truly missing is a 3rd to make their dream a reality. Greta drifts from one career to another as she tries to figure out what she truly wants with her life. Having suffered a great loss, she knows that life is indeed too short. That's part of what makes her choose to become an agent. She's sent to go undercover at the MC and is determined to make it work. But when the two men catch her eye in a different way, she has to really push to get her head in the game. But as things go on, she not only realizes they're not who they are, but her heart somehow didn't get the memo to keep it work-related. She has to make the hard decision, follow her heart, or get down to what the real issue is? What makes the DEA think there's something going on? This is a fantastic journey for 3 people who find their forever in a less traditional way. That's what makes it even better for me! It's the first book that the author has ventured into the LBGTQ+ genre and it's well done! This is a beautiful, quick read that will grab you and keep you engrossed!
