The pressing and universally relevant issue of euthanasia is debated in this volume. Euthanasia has become increasingly contentious as populations age, and medical and scientific advances continue to transform and extend life. Gail Tulloch is now retired. She was a Research Fellow and Director of the research programme in Biomedical Ethics and Regulation at the Key Centre for Ethics, Law, Justice and Governance at Griffith University, in Brisbane, Australia. She is the author of Mill and Sexual Equality.
