Acerca del autor

When Anchale A was three years old, her father – a journalist then – would sit on a wooden swing, chewing on the bottom tip of a Reynolds pen, with balls of crumpled paper all around. She was so fascinated by them that she wanted to write as well. When she was ten years old, she wrote about Santa Claus, bumble bees and sloth bears, accompanied by illustrations and then, one day, it all stopped.
Flash forward to thirteen years later.
In 2016, she discovered her love and need for writing again, while pursuing her masters in science and management in Sydney, Australia. Her poetry was initially only a form of release from being hit by a pumpkin ball, until she realized that poetry could be the Cinderella glass shoes to transform desolation into elation. Owing to her passionate interest in art and art direction, this book of poetry is warmly hugged by conceptual photographs, creatively captured by her super-talented colleague.
Anchale loves caffeine. But she loves her human sister and her two canine brothers beyond caffeine. Besides all these, she is a very normal hyperactive 24-year-old who can neither walk straight nor swim straight but loves to give free hugs.
Anchale, now working as a microbiologist in a bio-pharmaceutical company, lives in a third floor apartment in a small suburb in Sydney with her friends.
P.S. She hopes that her Amma and Appa like her book.
P.P.S. She finds it awkward to write about herself in third person.
