What began as a genuine hobby in 2016, is now a top jewelry making lessons platform, known all around the world, with thousands of artists joining to learn how to create unique wire wrapped jewelry designs. The shop on Etsy called WireArtTutorials has become one of the best-selling online shops, offering lessons and DIY kits from beginner to advanced levels. The WireWrapTutorial platform offers memberships with access to all existing tutorials of her designs.
Erika is a self-taught artist who began to experience wire wrap art in 2016 while she was traveling around Europe with her family. She began to create decorations and wire masks, but her interest was quickly complemented by the creation of jewelry of all kinds. She likes all styles, from art deco to classic, from the simplest to the most extravagant. Her most favorite creations are the wire wrapped animal jewelry, like the elephant, owl, dragon, seahorse, dolphin, turtle and many more.
She loves to experiment new techniques of all styles, which have not been seen in wire wrap art before, then teaching them with enthusiasm to her students.
She lives off-grid with her family, in the middle of a forest, getting artistic inspiration from nature. Erika hopes to write more books soon, teaching more elaborated techniques within multiple intermediate and advanced tutorials.
