When I read I always have pictures of the people, places and things that I am reading about. I "see" Anita as Hamilton. The cartoon was exactly how I "see" her. I really enjoyed the play-by of the process of her writing.

A fun read, nice intro of the werelions. Like all the Anita Blake books, I am hooked on the series and wished it was longer. Would have liked more back story on the lions and more of Jean Claude at the ending.

Story itself was OK not her best. The crap about her personal life and flirting was longer than the actual story. I read for the characters not the author.
