This is a wonderful adventurous story with a slow-burn romance continuing to build. Raine finally makes it to the guardians but no dragons are talking to her and they need her help badly. Laura Greenwood's writing in this adventurous romance is wonderful and the slow-burn romance is a breath of fresh air that is added to it. I love all the characters and I loved the ending to this story. This series includes adventure, romance, and courage. Such a great read for readers of many ages. I really hope we will be able to read more about the characters is future stories as well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

We once again join Raine, Cobalt and friends for another fantastic addition to the series. It is a quick read but so, so very worth every moment. Raine knows that she spoke to a dragon but it is such a fantastical idea that she sometimes doubts that it really happened but when it happens again she knows she is not going crazy and things between the defenders and the dragons are not all that they seem. Will Raine have the strength to face what is being asked of her and what the consequences of those actions will be? Reading this book was like visiting good friends and the story and the characters are colourful, enchanting and entertaining and I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who asks. In book 3 Raine and Cobalt can hear the dragons and are given the task to save them. This could turn their world upside down. A good series of a world of magic and dragons. It show that progress is not always good. I enjoyed this book and what happens to Raine and Cobalt and their friends and family. I would recommend this book and series.
