About the author
Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Franz W. Peren, Ph.D., ist Professor der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere quantitative Methoden. Seit 1993 lehrt er Wirtschaftsmathematik, Wirtschaftsstatistik sowie quantitative Methoden der Planung, der Steuerung und der Kontrolle innerhalb des operativen und strategischen Managements zunächst an der Fachhochschule Bielefeld, seit 1995 an derHochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. Peren lehrte und forschte zudem an der University of Victoria inKanada sowie an der Columbia University in New York, USA.
