Loss of a parent in the military and picking up the pieces of your planned life when it's thrown out the window. The flow and story build up was excellent. Loved the characters. Great book!

My son is in the military, married with 4 children. I have felt all the same emotions and fears. I laughed and I cried with this whole story. Very well written and an addictive read. A very special thanks to ALL of the men and women that have and/or still serving this country...Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I love you son and am the proudest mom ever.

I truly loved this book. I could not put it down. I thought it was a great love story and could not help but cry during parts of this book. One of my favorite books by far!!!

Rebecca Yarros is a hopeless romantic and lover of all things chocolate, coffee, and Paleo. In addition to being a mom, military wife, and blogger, she can never choose between Young Adult and New Adult fiction, so she writes both. She's a graduate of Troy University, where she studied European history and English, but still holds out hope for an acceptance letter to Hogwarts.
