Dr. D.P. Gadgile is at present working as Assistant Professor and Head at Department of Botany, Madhavrao Patil Arts, Commerce & Science College, Palam (M.S.), India. He is distinguished researcher in post-harvest plant pathology. He has authored 07 books. He published more than 40 research papers in reputed National and International Journals. He earned Gold Medal in M. Sc. Botany form Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.) India. He also got Golden Jubilee JRF of Dr. Babasaheb Aurangabad Marathwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.), India and UGC- Meritorious fellowship. He earned Ph.D. degree from Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.) India. He was Associate Editor of Current Botany Journal and member of editorial board of several Journals.
