This standard is applicable to light rare earth carbonates prepared by chemical methods using the light-rare-earth-based rare earth minerals as raw materials. It is mainly used as a raw material for separating a single rare earth product, preparing a rare earth polishing powder, or as a raw material for producing mixed rare earth oxide for electrolysis purposes.
