About this ebook

The small town of Ridgewood is shocked when the pale and frozen corpse of a teenager is discovered. But there's more than meets the eye to this grisly scene; the death hides a terrifying secret. A horror that extends beyond the barriers of the physical world and into an labyrinth of other worlds and strange places.

Tasked with unraveling the mystery, Roberta Arlington struggles to cope as her world falls apart. And, though aided by her friends - and, indeed a few odd eccentrics - a sudden, unseen evil stirs inside her and threatens to do far worse than take yet another victim.

It was a great read, very well written with superb plot. I have read Tower of souls(2nd book) and Spirits of the Middlelands (3rd book), but i can't find fourth and fifth book of the series on play store, although they were available on play store like a couple days ago. Please put them back on. I can't wait to finish this great series.

This book was interesting, but a bit confusing. I kept feeling like I'd started reading it from the middle, like things had happened that I'd somehow missed. But I'm onto The Tower of Souls now.

This book was painful to read..I had to make myself finish it..it was very slow..the characters were not thought out and you could not build any connection to any of them..the whole curse story was confusing.and frankly boring..I don't care to know any more about the curse the town or the people in this book..a truly bad read..

About the author

I'm the hermit that has too many cats. I'm the fanatic that becomes way too involved in science fiction and fantasy films and dramas (Battlestar Galactica, Helix, True Blood, Marvel Films, etc). I'm the kind of guy that, once the biscuit packet is open, I eat the entire lot - yes, I have a sweet tooth.

I'm Geoff Wakeling; a Londoner, gardener, conservationist and writer. Read my work and you'll likely spy many creatures, whether centre stage or simply in the setting....I'm the man man that steps over ants and rescues languishing worms that have strayed onto the hot pavement.

The world is sometimes a battle to deal with, so I escape into books. Try out Inside Evil; the fantasy series with fantastical creatures, parallel worlds and doppelgangers. If you're looking for a zombie story, then try Pacifier 6; a world where mutants have been pacified into a docile slave force through medicine. Or, if you love a little science fiction and dystopian, pick up CRYO and follow John's journey as he enters cryonic sleep and awaits his future.
