Calming the Family Storm by Dr. MacKay & Dr. Maybell is a rare gem. It addresses a huge modern problem - time pressed families don't have time to communicate or to communicate well. The book is easy to read and chock-full of practical tips. I would recommend it unreservedly for any family or counselor. -W.F. Peate, MD, MPH
