About the author

George Waters is a Professor of Economics at Illinois State University where he has taught for over 20 years. Prior to that, he taught mathematics at many levels. His published research covers topics including macroeconomics, applied statistics, economics education, asset pricing and game theory.

Dr. Waters has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of North Caroling - Chapel Hill, an M.S. in Mathematics from California State University - Hayward (now East Bay) and a B.A. in Mathematics from Northwestern University.
