Jetzt kommt es erstmals dazu, dass Unternehmen Strafzinsen bezahlen müssen, wenn sie Geld bei Banken parken. Ob das die Wirtschaft ankurbelt, wie von der EZB erhofft, ist fraglich. Sicher ist nur, dass sich zunächst einmal das Liquiditäts-Management verteuert. Darüber hinaus ist es ein deutliches Signal an die Wirtschaft, dass mittelfristig nicht mit einer Erholung zu rechnen ist. Das wird weitere Investitionen unterbinden.
