Geropsychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Second Edition addresses the knowledge and skills necessary in the assessment and nursing care of older adults experiencing common late life mental health and psychiatric problems. The collaborative effort enhances extant competencies for all levels of nursing education, focusing on older adults with mental health/illness concerns. Shared in the Appendix are the competency statements developed for basic, graduate, post-graduate, and continuing education nursing programs.
