Its properties include the San Jose Mercury News, the Contra Costa Times, and the Oakland Tribune. Jim Barnett has served as the Warriors' television analyst for parts of four decades. An All-American at the University of Oregon and an 11-year NBA veteran, Barnett played for the Warriors for three seasons in the 1970s. Barnett resides in Orinda, California.
