An excellent book to start reading about my personal carbon footprint. The energy-saving tips in the electronics and personal computers topics are much needed for the current digital world. Kudos to the authors for their great job in covering important topics but I wish they add more content in the future.

About the author

Gopalakrishnan Ravichandran is a Research Engineer at the Singapore Synchrotron Light Source, a research center at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the NUS. He was named as an Emerging Leaders fellow by Ananta Aspen Institute and selected as a Peace Ambassador (2019-20) by Humanitarian Affairs Asia. He is passionate about climate change, sustainability, and the environment. 

Professor Seeram Ramakrishna, FREng, Everest Chair is a senior professor of materials engineering at the National University of Singapore. He is named among the World’s Most Influential Minds (Thomson Reuters), and World’s Highly Cited Researchers in Cross-Fields (Clarivate Analytics). He received Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK; & the GMP from Harvard University, USA. He is an eminent resource person for start-ups, corporations, governments, universities, and international organizations. European Commission Director-General for Environment, Excellency Daniel Calleja Crespo said “Professor Seeram Ramakrishna should be praised for his personal engagement leading the reflections on how to develop a more sustainable future for all”.
