Acerca del autor

Gavin Comtesse was born on May 13, 1980, in Adelaide, Australia. After completing high school, he joined the army and spent thirteen years in service, in that time serving overseas on several occasions. While overseas, Gavin discovered his passion for writing by jotting poetry in his notebook in times of low activity. Having read his poems to a select crowd, Gavin soon developed a love for the pen. Gavin left the army and became a teacher. While doing this, he expanded his writing skills from poetry to children’s books. He wrote Hamish and the Terrible Poo as a tool to encourage one of his five children when toilet training. Gavin now live in country New South Wales, Australia, with his beautiful wife and five wonderful children, which are his constant sources of inspiration.
