About the author
GEORGE LANGELETT is a professor of management and economics at South Dakota State University in Brookings. After earning a BS in marketing from the University of North- western, St. Paul, George pursued a PhD in economics from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. His dissertation focused on human capital formation and economic growth. Dr. Langelett is a member of the Academy of Management and continues his lifelong passion to better understand the nature of human motivation. He and his wife, Lara, have been happily married for 12 years and have two children.
