How to Catch a Sinful Marquess (The Disreputable by Amy Rose Bennett is a wonderful addition to this delightful Regency series. It can be read as a stand alone. Take a journey with Olivia de Vere, aka Lavinia Morland, an orphaned heiress and Hamish MacQueen, Lord Sleat battle-scarred in many ways, into their world of secrets, scars, a slow burn Romance, and finding their love. Well written and well crafted. The characters are charming and the storyline is unpredictable, with flawed characters, and is emotionally charged. A sexy Historical romance that will capture your heart. Can this series get any better? Amy Rose Bennett wows me again with this delightful, yet heart touching story of an unlikely pair that are perfect together to help mend each other. This is Olivia's story, who introduced previously and Hamish McQueen's who is the quintessential scarred hero inside and out. My very favorite storyline, because I love to see them made whole again. Did I say Hamish is a Scot? and oh yes handsome and strong? A rescuer of maidens stuck on a wall they are trying to climb over? Oh yes and a Scot? The object of Olivia's girlish dreams and swoon worthy! When Olivia is in a fix because she is being forced to wed her disgusting cousin, a solution presents itself. Hamish has been left a young girl on his doorstep with a letter claiming she is his. But he has to get to his estate in Scotland and see about his sister. So Olivia goes with him to care for the child. Their journey is not an easy one, but both of them begin to find their strengths and truths as they try to find their way. Loved every word!
