I found the book full of action and drama, but also with confused wolves who didn't really understand themselves, seeing as they weren't born wolves but turned. I think I might have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous books, but I just didn't get captivated. A great effort, I would recommend it to new shifter readers.

Kerry Delgado is the sole witness to a shooting, during which she is turned into a wolf shifter. She has been in danger for the last year, and things keep getting worse. The detective on the case arranges for a bodyguard, and from the moment she meets Bryan Vega, something tells her wolf that he is her Mate. Bryan is getting the same message, and the urge to claim her is strong. With the trial date imminent, will Bryan be able to keep her safe? This book is the fourth in the series, and while it may be read as a stand alone, it is better enjoyed read in order. The mystery of how the group became a pack of wolf shifters is a little bit closer to being solved, but we're not there yet. The romance part of the story is good. The draw between Bryan and Kerry is powerful, and their romps in wolf form are fun. I can recommend this one as a good read worth the one click.
