A good start to a new series with a group of strong ex-military men, who have something terrible happen to them that turned them into werewolves. Owenis part of their security firm and it is his task to guard Stasia, if she wants him to or not. What follows is a lovely romance amidst some thrilling adventures. The men don’t really know what happened to them to make them werewolves and the reader is left wondering too. But they are thrown in together and that is something that comes across.

What a great paranormal novel this was. After reading this part, you can't help but want more! Stasia is one of 9 children of a very rich man with a powerful company. She has distanced herself from it and lives her life as an ER doctor. That doesn't stop others from trying to kidnap her. When an attempt is prevented, her father decides it's time for a security team. Owen teams up with 6 other army mates as bodyguards. After going through a strange ritual in Germany, completely against their will, they find out that they are changing and become a werewolf. After 2 years they still don't quite know how it works but it has its advantages in the work as a bodyguard. Once he meets Stasia, his wolf knows for sure, she's his fated mate. But how do you tell a woman what you are and what she is to him? Can an ER doctor accept what cannot be proven? And, is she in danger if she's with him? A wonderfully well-crafted story. A love story as it should be, a mystery that does not know its rendering, plenty of action. Everything in 1 book. This is part 1 of a series. I will definitely be reading other books in this series. Highly recommended I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
