5 Star Review In Too Deep (Man of the Month #10) by J Kenner This is the tenth book in the series and is Hannah Donovan and Matthew Herrington’s story. In Too Deep is an extremely well written, fun quick story which grabbed my attention from the start. Hannah is the best friend and new law partner of Easton Wallace. Everything is going well in their plans to establish their new practice until it isn’t. The money she planned to use from her pension fund suddenly cannot be accessed and her mother does not want to release her inheritance from her late father unless she is in a committed relationship. When she spills her woes to Easton’s girlfriend Selma, she comes up with a plan to get her brother to help Hannah out. Matthew has always been drawn to Hannah and vice a versa. The chemistry between Hannah and Matthew sizzles and I absolutely adored Matthew. However it isn’t as smooth sailing as it could be. Matthew is now at a point where he is looking to find “the one”. Hannah doesn’t feel she is ready to settle down, especially since she us trying to build up their practice. The books in this series can easily be read as stand alone, but since they are not that long and a quick and easy read I would recommend you one click them all. This has been a fun series to read and I am excited and sad that there are only two more books to come; looking forward to Mr. November.

We’re down to the last three books of the ‘Man of the Month’ series by J. Kenner, and it’s been quite a ride so far. In Too Deep carries the baton of great stories or yet another month and one more sexy as sin guy. Book ten has Hannah and Matthew as the focus of the story, they’ve both been in other books but now it’s time for their tale, and to get the whole insider look at it, you really need to read the others in this series. Hannah wants to start a new law practice with Easton from All Night Long #9 in this series, but in able to do so, she needs to get her hands on her inheritance from her dad. Unfortunately, it’s tied up, and the only way to get her hands on it, is the show her mom and step-father that she is ready to settle down. But, in order to do that, she needs someone to pretend with her. A fake fiance is in order. Easton’s girlfriend, Selma has the ideal candidate. Her brother Matthew. Matthew is more than happy to help out. MORE THAN HAPPY. It is his dream come true. Well, apart from the fake part that is. He’s had a thing for Hannah for a long time and would love to think he was about to get the chance to show her how he feels. For real. But, that’s not what Hannah’s looking for. Can he keep his feelings hidden? What will happen when Hannah starts to harbor feelings of her own? From pretend to full on love affair, this book held my interest throughout. Matthew was sweet and kind, and Hannah sassy and sexy. These two played off each other brilliantly, the chemistry was spot on. Only 2 more books to go. Griff is next in line and I’m looking forward to reading his story.

"I wasn't looking for you, but I found you. And now I need you." Hello Mr. October!! As the series winds down (2 to go), I can't say enough how much I have enjoyed these stories. Each one spotlights a different couple, while the characters from the others make their appearance throughout each one. Plus, one of the hottie men is crowed the next Man of the Month! Hannah Donovan is ready for a new start. She's quit her job as in-house counsel for Brandywine Finance & Consulting and is on the cusp of opening a new law firm with her bestie, Easton. The only thing holding her back is the funding. She knows where to get it and how, but there is one critical piece of the puzzle needed to free it up. She needs a man. One to convince her mother to release her inheritance from her father. Matthew. Will he come to her rescue and pretend to be her man? She wants him, but they agreed this would be fake - and temporary. Right? Matthew Herrington has been attracted to Hannah for a while now. How could he not be? She's perfect. Now, she needs his help. He can't tell if this is a godsend of an opportunity to be close to her, or the worst decision he's ever made. She is so far out of his league, there is no way he's deserving of her. When this arrangement is done, he'll walk away and she'll find someone deserving of her. He just needs to survive losing her. There's no way they can work - right? I really enjoyed their story. I wanted to slap her mother and step-father across the head for being so closed minded, but as you know, there's a happily ever after regardless!!
