This book is a composition of recipes which is beneficial for the human body, as food is a source of energy. According to me, food is essential for one’s well-being and cooking is a culmination of science and arts, which maintains the overall balance of our health. My dishes are prepared with the utmost care and effects in making my food healthy, digestible and satisfying to your taste buds.

My dishes are just not simple meals; it is a healing medicine, energy making tonic booster, mood elevator and a delicious, pleasurable eating experience.

These recipes include medicinal preparations of selected herbal and beneficial spices, including fruits and vegetables which are used in Unani and herbal  practices, to enhance the daily consumption of a healthy balanced diet, which improves our digestive mechanisms, absorption and assimilation of food, building up the immune system against common colds and respiratory infections, it improves memory, purifies the blood, eliminates toxin, improves skin complexion, and enhances proteins required by the body.
 Food must be:
• Appealing
• Aromatic
• Digestive 
• Tasty 

This is my first recipe cookbook. God willing every person who buys this book will have a new cooking experience, hassle- free and enjoy healthy meals.

Dr. Izzat Hussain is an Indian freelancer consulting chef. He was born in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, India and spent most of his childhood in Kanpur & Lucknow.
He belongs to the Royal Family of Awadh. Husain is married and has a daughter and sons.


Husain is passionate about food and being a man of spices.  His priorities of cooking food are for good health, by choosing spices that have  natural healing benefits. He has dedicated several years to perfect authentic recipes of the most diminishing Mughlai Awadhi and Lakhnawi Cuisine. His learning experiences and unique methods of preparing these dishes came from the old cooks; the Royal family’s in-house cooks and foodies.

Husain is known for cooking Awadhi cuisine across the globe. Murgh Megarad and Kebab Makhmali are his signature dishes

Izzat Husain is an Unani Physician & an Indian Mughlai Chef.  He started his career as a Doctor in a Charitable Hospital in India. Later, he became a celebrity chef after working with many 5-star hotels. He has also prepared recipes for selected hotels and reputed caterers?

Dr. Izzat Husain’s dishes are very delicious and prepared on slow fire, until its fully cooked, which makes it easy to digest and beneficial for health. He is a well-recognised chef by many foodies, bloggers, and food historians. 
      
Husain’s first TV show is a QUEST on Traveller XP.   He has presented recipes with many TV channels.  He is the brand ambassador for Izzat Pasand (Dry Onions & Flakes) brand in India.
