Carly’s mother had received a promotion within her company. Which meant their family needed to relocate from Seattle WA to London UK. This holiday would be the last time that Carly and his childhood camping buddies would be able to meet.
Moving to the UK implicates that Carly, after the summer break, would start his junior high in an unfamiliar country with a different culture. He is not keen on it, and if it would be possible, he’d prefer to stay in the US. By a twist of fate that option becomes possible but not without consequences. He will have to make tough choices and sacrifices. Which leads him on a voyage of rediscovery of his true self, in due questioning and redefining friendships and relationships he’d held for granted.
