I read this book and found it completely gripping, James Herbert knew the in's and out's of how the police force operates and really encourages the reader to become attached to the main character, fantastic novel, and i Will continue to read his entire collection

In 2010, he was made the Grand Master of Horror by the World Horror Convention and was also awarded an OBE by the Queen for services to literature. His final novel was Ash. James Herbert died in March 2013.
