About the author

Jan Roberts has spent more than 40 years in the health care industry, 25 of those working in the area of women's reproductive health. She has an honours degree in pharmacy from Sydney University and a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Nutrition. She is the Australian representative for Foresight the British Association famous for its work in promoting preconception health care. For two decades she has presented seminars and keynote speeches to health professionals, prospective parents and students throughout Australia, NZ and USA. She contributes regularly to various magazines and professional journals, but is also a successful business entrepreneur, developing and marketing products and services that support her vision for a healthier, happier next generation. In 2010 she was short-listed for Vodafone World of Difference and in 2011 was the winner of the Sydney University Pharmacy Alumni Award for Achievement.
