Another truly amazing story, Montana Cowboy Promise by Jane Porter, book five in her Wyatt Brothers of Montana series, brought us the story of youngest son Tommy and his soul-mate Blake. Three years ago, Tommy and Blake met in Las Vegas and married on a whim; spending only a few days together before going their separate ways. During their years apart, Tommy never saw another woman; he loved Blake so much that he just waited and hoped one day she would come back to him. Blake believed she had a legitimate reason why they couldn’t be together; knowing it would only cause Tommy heartache in the end. Blake finally appears at one of Tommy’s rodeos, not to get back together, she wanted a divorce so she could move on with her life. Blake did not realize that Tommy was willing to do anything to keep her in his life, by his side. Blake was in for a surprise when Tommy refused to sign; instead, he got her to agree to spend a week with him. If at the end of the week she still wanted the divorce, he would sign the paperwork; despite Tommy being determined to show her why staying together would be the best option. There are so obstacles along their path to happiness; lest of which is Blake keeping a secret from Tommy; a secret that, if they stayed together, could greatly change the outcome of their marriage and future together. Oh my, the emotions, the heartbreak, the feelings, the deep running love, all tugged at my heart. Ms. Porter, an amazing story teller in her own right, wrote an amazing, emotional, inspirational, and heart-warming story, written with, written with sensitivity and believability that definitely should not to be missed. This story is filled with strong attraction, clever dialogue, and strong, big-hearted characters, enabling Tommy and Blake to overcome difficulties and be given a second chance for a future together. I highly recommend Montana Cowboy Promise to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Tommy and Blake have a chance meeting in Vegas, after a whirlwind of three days they end up married. Both head home for the holidays with a plan to meet up right after the holidays. But, life gets in the way and three years pass. Blake has now come to Marietta to ask for a divorce but Tommy asks for one more week together. Blake is holding a terrible secret from Tommy, even though she loves him with her whole heart. Will they have their HEA? Love the Wyatt brothers and Tommy is now my favorite. Tommy has the biggest heart and will not give up fighting easily. Blake is a genuine giving person and doesn't want to hurt a soul, even if means sacrificing her happiness. A fair warning, have a box of kleenex ready, many tears were shed through out this story.

Montana Cowboy Promise, the fifth book in Jane Porter’s Wyatt Brothers of Montana series is a roller ride of emotions. Tommy and Blake hit squarely in the heartstrings, their unusual journey is fraught with time and distance. Blake’s stoicism is juxtaposed by Tommy’s strength and all encompassing heart. I was engaged with and cheering for this couple from their meet cute, Tommy’s unintended rescue of Blake, and their subsequent marriage was endearing, as was their instant draw to each other. I’m not sure the last time when two characters left such a lasting impression, well long after the story had ended…my emotions ran the gamut from tears to escalating joy. If there was ever a couple who deserved a true HEA, it was these two…they will go in my book lovers’ heart as one of my all time favorites. This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher.
