About this ebook

This crucial, empowering, #1 New York Times bestselling exploration of racism—and antiracism—in America makes critical ideas accessible for teen readers, adapted from Ibram X. Kendi's National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning.

This is NOT a history book. This is a book about the here and now.
A book to help us better understand why we are where we are.
A book about race.

The construct of race has always been used to gain and keep power, to create dynamics that separate and silence. Racist ideas are woven into the fabric of this country, and the first step to building an antiracist America is acknowledging America's racist past and present. This book takes you on that journey, showing how racist ideas started and were spread, and how they can be discredited.

Through a gripping, fast-paced, and energizing narrative written by beloved award-winner Jason Reynolds with research from renowned author Ibram X. Kendi, Stamped shines a light on the many insidious forms of racist ideas—and on ways you can identify and stamp out racist thoughts, leading to a better future.   Download the free educator guide here: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Stamped-Educator-Guide.pdf

We deserve reparations and justice from those jealous lying deceitful criminals for past and present crimes. Look up,GulagMagadan,CelticFilms also look up ProfTonyMartin. They should read and watch those documents I listed revealing the truth about them of course there is more but I cant put it on here since they despise truth. Also our hidden history to push multlculture. Most jobs hire nonwhltes over whltes to. You guys are criminals the protesters been comprised of MarxlstPARTY and proven to have ls lamlcs involved along with chlna to what you all done to churches and small businesses proves this. This book is for kids, first of all, but of course adults should and could read it. However, many white people may take offense on the simple grounds they are a huge part of the problem. Their inability to see their white privileges and unwillingness to let them go; much like the above 1 star reviews. Taking a sober look at racism through the eyes of America is not an easy pill to swallow, it takes someone with a strong character to read this book and gain the insight on how to move forward as an anti-racist. This book is a phenomenal read, but it is a shorter version to the original, "Stamped From the Beginning" by Ibram Kendi, which is also quite informative and a wonderful book to read.
