This book explores the perceived paradigmatic conflict within British classical economics between the so called 'Ricardo School' and the contemporary French Economics of Jean-Baptiste Say. Samuel Hollander is University Professor Emeritus, University of Toronto, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Officer in the Order of Canada. He has published nine books, three of these have been with Routledge. He is currently Professor of economics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
