Trina decides to hide out from her stalker and find her musical muse again by accepting a part time job at the Bloo Moose Sugar Shake in Vermont. I was surprised that someone with her money and success wouldn't have a bodyguard. Her new maple farmer employer Jack used to be a prosecuting attorney and put away some really bad people, so she had to consider someone might come after Jack and draw her murderous stalker and his associates to them. As a former lawyer and with Trina as the office manager I was also surprised Jack didn't do any kind of background check on her. For someone who struck me as innocent hiding away and not having any romantic relationships because of the man who has stalked her since she was a teen Trina was awfully quick to jump into bed with Jack. I loved the dog he rescued Swindler who could have had a career picking pockets. The moose statue Trina commissioned for Jack sounds adorable. They have their share of ups and downs and she writes quirky songs about it.
