About the author


Dr. Jeroen Hendrikse is professor in radiology with a focus on brain imaging at the University Medical Centre Utrecht, which is the second largest hospital in The Netherlands. He has developed innovative MRI scans to study brain infarcts and the cerebral vasculature. He worked as a researcher at the Johns Hopkins University and received prestigious national and international prizes and grants. He is responsible for the continuous medical educational program for radiologists in the Netherlands.
