Management science in engineering (MSE) is becoming increasingly important in modern society. In particular, the emergence of efficient and innovative management tools has greatly influenced the progress of management science in engineering research. As research is critical to the dissemination of cutting-edge methods, journal evaluation and classification are essential for scientists, researchers, engineers, practitioners, and graduate students. About the author

Prof. Jiuping Xu was included as the philosophy and social science leading scholar of the national "Ten Thousand Project" in 2016, and has acted as the Distinguished Professor of “Cheung Kong Scholars Program” since 2009. He has published more than 40 books and more than 700 papers. He has also been the President of the International Society for Management Science and Engineering Management since 2007. He was appointed as Lifetime Academician of International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences in 2010, the Lifetime Academician of Lotfi Zadeh International Academy of Sciences in 2014, and the Foreign Academician of Mongolian National Academy of Sciences and Honorary Academician of Academy of Sciences of Moldova in 2016.
