Good book. Read it in one day. One you'll just want to read a couple more pages before you put it down. Great characters, excellent story development, really well written. Congrats to this author. Will search out his other books.

An interesting read, sometimes stretching credulity to painful limits, and with several (well, quite a few) potholes and blind alleys, yet almost always engaging, and culminating with a fairly satisfying aftertaste.

He is the author of several acclaimed books, including Lamentation and December Boys in the Jay Porter series. He lives with this wife and two sons in the San Francisco Bay Area.
