the love story that captured over 20 million hearts in Me Before You, After You, and Still Me.

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation and perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

I cannot put into words of the impact this book had had on me emotionally. I finished it half an hour ago, and I am still reeling from it. I loved it, I hated it, I laughed, I cried. But most of all I thought. Most books I read and enjoy, rarely to they provoke me to actually think about my life, or imagine myself in a characters shoes. Will Traynor, I don't think I'll ever forget his story.

This book is a perfect example of what an author needs to do in order to get readers connected to her characters. For me, what hurt me the most, was the feeling of actually knowing Will and loving him and his bossy character. Even though some parts of the book were slow and excessive, it thoroughly captures the ups and downs of a person's life, with Louisa's bubbly personality to accompany it.

Reading this book was very enjoyable. I appreciate the author's attention to detail and her style of writing. After finishing the book it left me thinking, and perhaps that was part of the experience, but I didn't feel very invested in the end. There was a huge build up and then the ending was very short in length and emotion. Also, I thought there were a couple of nicely fleshed out characters, but some of them were annoyingly two dimensional and that detracted from my experience
