Wow!! Teagan came to Blackthorn the day her adoptive parents died. A year later she has adjusted to her new life and meets Shayde. Teagan is having troubles with a fellow necromancer. That is when things start to escalate. Captivating read that draws you in. A mystery monster romance with a ride or die best friend. I loved Teagan. She was whisked away from her life without truly having any idea of what was happening or who, in fact, she truly was. Luckily she has her best friend Evie and these two together are hilarious. When it seems that coming to Blackthorn Academy has brought nothing but danger and an enemy, there is a light in form of a dark elf called Shayde. Will finding out the truth makes things better or worse?

The seventh book in the Blackthorn Academy for Supernaturals, dark elf Shayde Drargokin and Teagan Osborn’s story. The story is well written and one I should not have started at bedtime as I could not put it down until I was finished. There is drama, suspense, danger, villains, secrets and romance. The story is well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
