Amazing conclusion to an amazing trilogy! Much like the first two books, this one is chock-full of twists and turns, secrets and angst, and all the feels. It’s intense and gripping and real and raw and I couldn’t put it down. Penn and Natalie’s journey wasn’t always easy or pretty, and both have changed and grown so much since the first book. I adore this couple and was rooting for them from the very first page. This series was unique and well-thought-out and, despite my reservations about the how the book would end, I was very pleased. This is a must read trilogy and a top read of the year for me.

Cruel Legacy is the conclusion to Natalie - Penn Story in the Cruel Trilogy!! Every human has a good & shady side... In this book, we get to see the other side of Natalie. She is out for revenge after the way she has been wronged by Penn's friends... Penn has been waiting to win her back. And when Natalie gets back to NYC for her revenge, he is there by her side in every way... He helps her with the upper east side life not knowing she is seeking all the help to plot her revenge.. And the way their relationship grew was awesome... I loved the way Penn's character evolved in this book... He has come a long way from the person he was in the first book... And Natalie was a totally different person.. She was tough and bold and so blinded in her want for revenge... I was worried how the ending is gonna be with the revenge plot.. However, the author just got the perfect ending for this trilogy.. This book has the perfect amount of romance, angst, twist and turns... The writing was amazing and I cant wait for Lark's story from this world!!

 K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of the Avoiding Series, Wrights, and more than thirty other novels. She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team. She loves reading fantasy novels, binge-watching Supernatural, traveling, and dancing in her spare time.
