This is a short and quick "Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain" read about Owen and Kennedy. Owen is trying to escape Ruby and her latest match making scheme. He heads out to his favorite spot by the lake. A few days alone and camping will do the trick. However, when he gets to the lake someone is already there, Kennedy. She is camping in hopes of finding the spot where her grandfather preposed to her grandmother. When Kennedy and Owen meet the attraction is there and they are friendly. Then

This sweet novella is another great addition to Ruby's Mountain Man of the Month series. Owen is a loner and Kennedy is reminiscing about her grandparents in a remote lake area. Owen takes Kennedy under his wing to help her camping in the remote region and when a landslide happens, cutting Kennedy's route back off, Owen guides them back. Owen is a good guy. He runs away to try to avoid Ruby and her matchmaking efforts. Kennedy comes to Mustang Mountain for a bit of camping. Owen runs right into her path. This is another hit for the men of Mustang Mountain. This is another solid story with good characters. It is fun to watch as another bachelor bites the dust. I love the way the towns people interact with Hades. He adds more heart to the stories. I got a little lost in the ARC where Kennedy was going to move to NYC. I truly don't remember that being stated in the story, just talk about her not going now and not having any desire to go. I enjoy this stories and can not wait for Nate.
