This book was sweet and romantic in some spots. It was a good story. There were a few mean people in there and a plot twist in the middle. Cassie finds out her fiance is not a nice guy and literally catches him cheating on her right before their wedding. So she decides to Take a trip to Vegas with some of her friends before moving from Ireland to New York. Some how they get into a hot party and found out it is a little wilder than they thought it would be or at Least what Cassie thought it would be. The guy that gets her ends up being a Gentleman. She tries to forget about the weekend and move on to New York. She starts at her new job. And the story gets even more interesting from here. Dax is a complicated guy in a complicated situation. He is a wealthy guy that is connected to a very wealthy family in New York. The kind of guy that can get what he wants when he wants. He is a Gentleman. Some of the family and friends were fun to read about as well even though they were not the main characters. I really enjoyed reading this book. If I write too much more I will give away the story and the surprises are better left as a surprises. I received this book fro free from eBook discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review. All the opinions in the review are 100% my own.

What are the chances? Fate or some sort of predestination? If it wasn't for the fact that I have had my fair share of paths crossing, I would perhaps question the connection between Cassie and Dax. It seems that Dax and Cassie had no way of avoiding one another. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it was well written, funny, sad and romantic. There were times that the story skated very close to the edge and I was worried that it was going to go down some dark path, but Cassie discovered that in Dax there was a man who cared about her and saw her as she really was, giving back to her a piece of herself she lost when she realised her fiancé's affair. However, when Dax's seeming betrayal comes back to bite Cassie, I experienced her pain and her heartache. If only so many secrets hadn't been kept and so many lies told. Fortunately, both Dax and Cassie had good friends, whom while wacky and a little over the top, nevertheless have their best interests at heart. This book kept my interest all the way through. I enjoyed the “extras” in the book from the doorman to Grandma Kennedy, whom all came together to create a story. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
